Well, it's the end. Here are some graduation photos. I was the valedictorian this year, but it was purrre coincidence that I was able to speak before the class (we had to audition this year). I think this will be my last xanga entry. I plan to close my account, as I probably won't have time to write this stuff anymore.

Diploma!

Me giving my speech. I didn't expect to get such positive response afterwards, but it seems that a lot of people really really liked my speech! That made me happy.

Conclusion of speech: "WE... ARE... CLARK... GRADUATES!!!"

Ah, good times.

I'm kind of ticked because the Glendale News Press misquoted me in the paper... but it's aight.

A great summer begins.

Later days.

It's sad sometimes, realizing that high school is finished. It marks the end of youth and the beginning of adulthood. No longer will our parents provide us with food. No longer will we have the comforts of home. And, of course, we will no longer see the same people we're so used to seeing.

I hadn't realized how much I will miss these days until today at my publications class's end of year party. It was such a bittersweet moment. On the one hand, we're all graduating. On the other, we probably won't see each other for months... if not years. It's hard to believe -we're so used to seeing each other every day that we often take these things for granted.

It's even more saddening that my school starts in less than 2 months! I have to move in August 20th! Sigh... Summer is going to be soooo short.

Later days.

So, it's 4AM and I am still printing biology hw. My dad asks as I take my papers, "If you had this much homework, why did you go to that party?"

"Because school sucks."

I know school is close to its end this year, but the anger I have inside is almost too much to contain until then. I absolutely loathe the green walls of Clark. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my teachers... I just hate this place. There's something about it I can't take anymore. Perhaps it's the highly structured environment, perhaps it's the annoying bell telling me when I can leave class, or perhaps I'm just tired of the same old same old. Whatever the reason, all I know is I can't wait to

GTFO.

Today I walked down the halls with Rage Against the Machine playing full blast from my laptop. It was great.

Later.

Correction, it was the Nixon Library this time. Reagan is next week.
